Annual lift service

A boat lift is the one thing on your dock with moving parts. Cables stretch and fray, pulleys wear, motors and switches fail, and bunks and carpet break down. Most of the lift failures we get called out for were preventable with a service that takes under an hour.

What annual service covers. We inspect and adjust the cables, check pulleys and sheaves, grease what needs greasing, test the motor and switch, check bunks and carpet, and look over the mounting hardware and the dock structure around the lift.

We service every lift we sell, and plenty we didn’t. Cradle lifts, overhead lifts including the ones we fabricate ourselves, and PWC lifts.

When to do it. Late winter or early spring, before the season, so anything that needs a part is handled before you want the boat in the water.
